Antibes

Antibes: A post card perfect town with its large port holding enormous luxury yachts, the old Fort Carre with its medieval look out towers, the charming old town, sandy beaches and the Picasso Museum. In and around the old town there are numerous English pubs such as the Blue Lady, small nightclubs, street side cafes, perfect for people watching and fine dining restaurants such as Michelangelo, one of my favorites.

Shopping: In the mornings, located in the old town there is the Marche Provencal selling flowers, produce and Provencal products. There is also an antique/flea market on Thursday and Saturday at Place National and Place Audiberti. Located in the cobble stoned area of the old town there are several individual boutiques selling everything from clothing to handmade jewelry. Nearby there is a downtown shopping area with many boutiques some carrying such designers as Escada, Max Mara and Armani.
